KLS edge profiles are L-shaped and made of aluminum or stainless steel with perforations along the main fold for continuous drainage. It provides vertical separation between gravel and growing media, it can also be used for edging green roofs until 4" media depth. Typically they are self supporting and require no membrane penetrations. KLS gravel boards are also available in stainless steel.

Corner formation?

Cutting existing pieces on site is an option, however it is recommended to use prefabricated corners to save installation time, and reduce waste.

Which side is installed upright?

As this product is designed to offer two different heights, which face is upright depends on the height required, 3" or 5".

How can they be fastened?

In cases where purpose of the application is separation of different media, the weight of the substrate provides sufficient stability against any movement.
On an exposed edge, however, Diadem will supply an anchor piece along with a self-adhesive mat to prevent movement without the need to penetrate the underlying layers.
