The lightweight, though massive, edge unit for intensive green roofs with vertical front panel, made out of 100% post consumer composite material, including conduits for irrigation pipes and electric wires.

080. Application

RDA edge kerbs are to separate vegetated and paved areas, and edging max. 16" high layers of intensive green roofs. At the same time, these units can be used to house trunking for electrical wires and irrigation pipes. Due to their light weight RDA edge kerbs are applicable on roof structures with lower load bearing capacity.

  • Can the product be ordered in different heights?
Although the standard height is 16", we are always glad to fulfill special customer needs.
  • Can the product be ordered in different finishes?
Yes, simply specify RAL color and finish.
  • What provides product stability, and keeps the units in place?
Kerbs are placed on a crushed stone bed and are connected to each other by fasteners. Displacement of pieces is prevented by the weight of ballast material placed on the base plate.
  • Corner-forming?
For the forming of 90° internal or external corners, RDA elements are available, and on request, corners with unique angles also can be produced.
  • How to cut on site?
Local cutting is not necessary, the edge elements are produced and delivered according to the detailed plans of the manufacturer. In case any modification is needed, please use regular carpenter tools.
