To make the maintenance process of the green roof safe the project designer, Roofmeadow chose DIADEM^®’s FLG dynamic fall arrest system because of its simplicity and performance.

DIADEM^®’s fall arrest system is like no other in the US market in that it can be ballasted with the roof medium and fulfills OSHA performance criteria. It can also be placed on roofs with up to 5 percent slope, which helped designers accommodate this roof’s undulating form. Competing products require penetration of the roof membrane material and bolting or fixing the device in place. By contrast the FLG system can be placed almost anywhere and is corrosion and rot-proof. Forty-five permanent FLG system anchors support 600 feet of lifeline. This installation represents the first ballasted dynamic fall arrest system used in North America.
