003. Description of Detail

In some instances it may be neccessary to place decking over the rainwater outlets. Access to these outlets is still essential and is easily achieved by means of the TRF Terrace Grating. In this case there is no need for water retention. The DiaDrain Drainage Board is installed with the venting holes face down. The DiaDrain is then filled with chippings. This gives added fire protection to the system whilst drainage remains unimpeded. Finally the joints of the BW Concrete Kerb are sealed with a self adhesive bitumen strip.
